Landscape

How we landscape our yards determines the overall health of the entire yard.

Drainage, the right type of plants for your soil, location to the house, foot traffic, all of these need to be considered.

Green Team Management is usually brought into existing landscapes that need to be modified to make them work properly.

We do have some very good new install companies available with landscape architects if that is the need. Who ever you use, make sure function and practicality are often mentioned in the maintenance of the design.

If you study landscape design you will find that it is really about creating an environment.

Before making changes or starting a project, take the time to pay attention to what type of
landscape you are drawn to. If you walk in the woods and love the feeling of the environment, what are you hearing and smelling? Quaking Aspens, water falls, fresh pine; there is something that is creating a feeling in that setting that you may want to duplicate.

If you like your neighbors yard, try and dissect it down to what is making you say, "what a nice yard."

The next aspect is function. If the lawn always looks dry or too wet. Trees look healthy or sick, dog urine is making the lawn look bad, first impression in the front yard is tacky. The yard has a function, so list out what you want it to do.

Often a small inexpensive change can completely transpose the yard to a place you love.
